About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

Job Description

As a Business Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting and managing key commercial and business operations within the Division, including quotations, contract reviews, invoicing and payment collection, system data maintenance, asset sales, bidding processes, and commercial project coordination. You will work closely with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth business operations, standardized commercial processes, and effective cross-department cooperation in a fast-growing international manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

1. Be responsible for quotations, contract review, invoicing and payment collection, system data maintenance, asset sales, and other business-related activities for the four major vehicle manufacturing processes and component factories.

2. Manage bidding processes and exception handling related to the Division’s industrial waste, logistics and transportation, cleaning services, green plant and flower leasing, and other service-related business areas.

3. Drive and support the negotiation, coordination, and implementation of key commercial projects within the Division.

4. Conduct business management audits covering the Division’s commercial operations, ensuring compliance with internal requirements and process standards.

5. Deliver training on commercial workflows, provide business consultation to internal stakeholders, support the development of commercial management policies, and contribute to the standardization of business operation processes.

6. Maintain accurate documentation, reports, system records, and business-related data, and complete other job-related tasks assigned by the direct superior.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above is required; candidates with no less than 2 years of working experience in the automotive industry or in commercial/business functions are preferred.

2. Language proficiency: Chinese plus English or Hungarian language skills at a level suitable for daily business communication.

3. Strong communication, coordination, and cross-department cooperation skills, with a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.

4. Good business understanding, structured thinking, accuracy, responsibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

5. Outgoing, positive, proactive personality, with the ability to adapt to a high-pressure workload and a fast-growing international manufacturing environment.
