About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating factory-level projects, investment projects, meeting outputs, internal resource planning, controlled document management, and cross-departmental project follow-up. You will work closely with departments, directors, warehouse teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project tasks, documentation, resource plans, and implementation activities are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

1. Support and promote factory Class I and Class II projects, follow up on project milestones, and coordinate project-related tasks to ensure timely implementation.

2. Coordinate meeting outputs, follow up on action items, and ensure that agreed actions are completed to the required quality, quantity, and deadlines.

3. Promote and follow up on factory investment projects, support implementation planning, and ensure that investment-related tasks are completed according to schedule.

4. Review, summarize, and coordinate department-level plans for office supplies, PPE, and low-consumption items, and report the confirmed requirements to the warehouse after director approval.

5. Monitor factory quotas, standard position configurations, manpower allocation, and actual personnel distribution to support accurate resource planning and operational control.

6. Receive, issue, register, and manage factory-controlled documents, maintain electronic records, and ensure accurate document tracking and archiving.

7. Cooperate with related departments, ensure compliance with internal procedures and operational standards, and complete other job-related tasks assigned by the direct superior.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.

2. Relevant professional experience in project coordination, factory project support, investment project follow-up, production support, administration, logistics coordination, or cross-functional project management is preferred.

3. Fluent English language skills are required; Chinese and Hungarian language knowledge is an advantage.

4. Knowledge of project management processes, company management regulations, resource planning, document control, reporting, MS Office tools, and internal operational standards is preferred.

5. Responsible, precise, proactive, and adaptable personality with strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, multilingual communication ability, and willingness to travel for business if required.
